Sept. 20th Workshop with Shawn and Hush.
Instructors: Jee-Sun Lee aka Hushbaby and Shawn Potter
LEAD, FOLLOW, DANCE!
3 classes. Dance is about communication with your partner. Improve your technique so you can relax, cut loose and DANCE!
Learn lead and follow techniques in this unique workshop. Hush will teach the girls swivels and rhythm variations. Shawn will teach the guys how to follow and how to lead stretch and swivels. For the second class, the guys and girls will come together to try out what they have learned. The third class will focus on some fun patterns and variations to use in social dancing! - Class 1: 15:50-17:20 (1.5 hours)
Followers: (Instructor: Hush) Swivels and Rhythm Variations/Footwork (depends on level of students)Leaders: (Instructor: Shawn)
Following for Leaders.
Leading with stretch and leading swivels.
- Class 2: 17:30-18:10 (40 minutes)
Leaders and Followers come together to try their movements with feedback and inspiration from the instructors.
- Class 3: 18:10-18:40 (30 minutes) Cool moves and patterns or a short routine. (This will be instructor’s choice depending on the level of the students.)
- Place: “Shinjuku Cosmic Center 2nd Floor Multi-Purpose Room (Tamokuteki)”

DAY: 6-count intensive lesson
Instructors: Chieri and Yoshiaki
Learn all the fundamentals of 6-count swing in this 3.5 hour intensive class. Use what you have learned at tonight’s party!
NIGHT: GT SWING dance party in Naka Meguro
Tokyo’s largest Swing Dance space! Great music and a fast floor make GT-Swing a great event for dancers of all likes and abilities.
September 22nd
NIGHT: 7pm-9:40pm Group lessons
Join Swifle for our regular weekly group lessons. Have fun meeting new people and learning new approaches, techniques and fun patterns. Use what you have learned for tomorrow’s party.

NIGHT: C-JAM SWING
Tokyo’s hottest swing dance party. Awesome atmosphere, a fast floor, great music and great people make C-jam Tokyo’s #-1 choice for Swing Dancing. Beginner friendly with a 1-hour dance lesson before the party!!!!
